I'll have another go.

It was really great to see the kids all fired up Mrs G. I was surprised how much they already knew and they enjoyed the surprises covering areas that they didn't. I can't wait to join them again next week. :-D

Hi John - one of the tasks the children will be doing is reporting back to me about their findings and their achievements at changing things in the school and back at home. They will be writing to manufacturers about why they use certain packaging, for example why do some tea bag producers use a plastic wrap when others don't. They're also going to explore whether they would prefer kids' magazine publisher to leave out the toys and gadgets. They like the toys but many don't feel they need to much packaging. It will be interesting to see what they think. :-D

Hi Anne - wouldn't it be great to see so many messages going back to the home. And at least the recycling arrangements are something they can help out with and take responsibility for if their adults are too busy :-DAlmost Mrs Averagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03566374419318255177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1140894823591123770.post-83160258455070211962009-01-30T06:39:00.000+00:002009-01-30T06:39:00.000+00:00That's fantastic Mrs A - lovely to know that you c...That's fantastic Mrs A - lovely to know that you can create interest in recycling and the environment issues in our young. They will take it seriously and may even try to follow through at home too. They obviously have little home responsibility for waste. That is the adult sphere.

It will be good to see their perspective on waste issues.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1140894823591123770.post-26693774001739418732009-01-29T17:35:00.000+00:002009-01-29T17:35:00.000+00:00Sound fab, Mrs A - what a wonderful presence you a...Sound fab, Mrs A - what a wonderful presence you are adding to the school.
