I've been wondering what to do with my old laddered hosiery, which has been piling up on top of my cupboard for months. A few scraps of material and a couple of buttons later, I came up with the perfect solution just in time for Christmas...and with it... a little festive greeting.
So Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you have a brilliant time and manage to keep those festive bins looking as slim as Scrooge's old dusty wallet. Thank you for a real fun year and cor blimey it was a good 'un.
Well, that's me signing off for a while but I'll see you in 2009, when I'll be pondering my new year resolutions. Why don't you join in too, and get set for another trashtastic Rubbish Dieting year!
See you soon....

O-that was the best! Thank you! Merry Christmas and very best wishes to you and yours-always.
Pennie-from Twitter :)
:D oh my, that was brilliant. Mr G says you sound just like Pam Ayres; perhaps your second book should be a poetry one!
Merry Christmas to you too and the stocking filler looks fab - well done you!
Mrs G x
And a very happy Christmas to you, yours and the Stocking Fellas' and don't stop inspiring us and keeping us on our toes in 2009.
Blessings.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours, Mrs A.

A very merry Christmas to you. I'll look forward to catching up with you in the New Year.
Margaret
Hee hee, you are mad. Did you get the second one done?? That was actually very cute. Happy Christmas Lovely.
I love your fella - he reminds me of an Uglydoll. Although I have to admit when I first saw the photo of him I thought - oooh he's dog toy. I guess you can tell where my head's at preparing for my furkid's next Christmas. :)
This year my dog's gifts were low waste. I made a special batch of dog treats for him and his dog cousin and packaged them in empty spaghetti sauce jars that looked like canning jars. Christmas day is the only day my dog is allowed to rip, tear, and maul a gift bag to open his gifts. Since the bag will be compost fodder by the end of the day I put the jars of treats in a paper christmas shopping bag from the shops & glue an old christmas card over the logo.
Hi Pennie - lovely to see you on the blog and thanks for you festive wishes....hope you had a lovely Christmas. See you soon on Twitter :-D xx
Hi Mrs G - LOL somehow I don't think I could even rise to the mark of young Pam. The accent will be as much of a challenge as anything else. I was so relieved the stocking filler went down well. The one in the vid has even got a new name....Scrappy...LOL. Hope you had a fab Christmas...will catch up with you soon :-D xx
Hi Peter - Thank you so much for the festive wishes. It was a good 'un, full of relaxing times as well as family gatherings. Here's to 2009 :-D xx
Hi Anne - Best wishes to you too and no doubt, there will be more jam making on the agenda this year. I think I'm now hooked :-D xx
Hi Margaret - I can't wait to catch up with your blogposts. It looks like you've been busy. I'll also need to dig out some of your old posts with the plans that I've got for 2009. LOL...we've got lots of catching up to do...hee hee :-D xx
Hi Jo - Yep the second one got done to a background of swearing and needle pricks...I now know why thimbles are so important, my fingers have only just recovered...:-D xx
Hi Lisa LOL - with my stitching, they'd be dead dog toys within minutes. But yes, the little fella would be great for canines. Anyway, it looks like you've got it sorted for your furkid - love that by the way. Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and can't wait to get around to my visits :-D xx
Thanks again to everyone - I appreciate your visits and here's to a great 2009. Lots of love Mrs A xx
HAHAHAHAHAHA! You are truly bonkers Almost Mrs A! I totally loved that! That character deserves his own You Tube channel, seriously!!
LOL Ruby - now you're making me laugh...hmmm. Given he's not as camera shy as me, he might have to make another appearance :-D x
